The abbreviation DDR indicates the highest quality level for Omega timepieces. Shown and described in “Omega, A Journey through Time” (2007) by Marco Richon. In his book, Marco Richon says about this caliber: “This extremely precise chronometer, with its extraordinarily fine workmanship, embodies the absolute best quality ever achieved in a factory at the turn of the century …”.
