A rare and very early French 18 carat rose gold open faced minute repeating cylinder pocket watch, circa 1810. Full plate movement, visible striking train, repeating the hours, quarter hours and minutes, three hammers, cylinder escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, Breguet hands. Engine-turned case, reeded band, monogram on the back. Case numbered, cuvette and dial signed. Comes with, probably, the original key.
