A very fine and small Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced split second chronograph keyless pocket watch, circa 1904. Retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, U.S.A. Very fine calibre, lever escapement, fine adjusting device, chronograph, the main plate inscribed Swiss. Cuvette with a lady’s portrait. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours and red Arabic minutes, subsidiary seconds, rose gold hands and a blued steel chronograph hand. Plain case, fine black enamel horse scene on the back. Case numbered, dial signed by the retailer, movement also numbered and signed by the retailer, the movement number matches the numeral system by Patek Philippe 1904.
