A rare French 18 carat rose gold open faced Louis XV precision pocket watch, circa 1880. One of the smallest in the world. Fine miniature movement, cylinder escapement, winding wheels screwed three times/four times. White enamel Louis XV dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, blued steel hands. Plain case. Cuvette signed.
