An exquisite and very early Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced cylinder pendant watch, circa 1860. Bar movement, cylinder escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, blued steel Breguet hands. Case with floral ornaments, curved rim, polychrome enamel painting on the back depicting two young ladies with traditional alpine outfits and mountains in the background. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered. Comes with old watchbox by jeweller Stark Dresden.
