Three-colour gold and gem-set open faced Lépine watch

A rare, unique, and precious Swiss 18-carat multicoloured gold and gem-set open-faced Lépine cylinder watch, circa 1840. Rare, super flat Bagnolet calibre with negative winding squares, cylinder escapement, rubies, wolf’s toothing. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, filigree gold Breguet hands. The case worked in yellow gold, rose gold and white gold, with small blossoms of rubies, turquoise and pearls.
