An especially large and heavy Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased minute repeating astronomical precision watch with 7 complications, circa 1895. Made for brothers Wirth in Russia. Impressive plain case. Quality grade Superieure movement, glazed, lever escapement, minute repeater, triple date and chronograph. Cuvette with medals and inscription of the complications, the brand signature of Picard & Cie, La Chaux-de-Fonds and an additionally Cyrillic signature of the Russian company brothers Wirth. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, date, Cyrillic weekdays, Cyrillic months, moon phase and moon age, subsidiary seconds, chronograph scale and rose gold hands, with short hairline below the moon phase. Case signed and numbered, dial signed.
