An important French silver hunting cased verge pendant watch, circa 1650. Early French verge movement, gut string, still without hairspring, a typical regulating device with worm gear, iron balance. Silver dial with Roman numerals, engraved figure scene and blued iron hands. Case with splendid floral decorations on both sides. Movement signed.
