A very fine and very rare American 14 carat gold and enamel form watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1880. Cylinder movement. White enamel dial with Chinese signature, black Roman hours and gold outer minute dots, rose gold hands. Fan-shaped case, polychrome enamel painting on both sides, the front set with miniature pearls (one pearl missing). Cuvette signed.
