A gilt metal Swiss enamel and pearl-set open-faced minute repeating chronograph watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1880, jewelled movement, polished steel hammers repeating on coiled gongs, and cuvette with an engraved floral edge.
White enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer track calibrated for chronograph.
Polychrome enamel case back depicting the allegory of summer, split pearl bezels, blue enamel geometric design to the band, dial signed.
