A Swiss hunting cased pocket watch designed for the Ottoman market, dating to the late 19th century. This gold watch features two cases; the exterior is finely chased with a rosette, and a monogrammed MC. On the back, within the second case, engraved inscriptions read: A. Köpe – Geneva, 15 jewel anchor escapement. The ribbed, bulbous crown has a ring. The dial is silvered with Turkish numerals enamelled in black, with the centre and the circumference decorated with two tone gold foliage, and a second small dial in the lower part.
