An 18 Carat gold French pocket watch made by Turbant in Taninge, France circa 1820. The watch has a heavy and large open faced glazed plain case and a striking mechanism on a bell. The white enamel dial has golden hands and the movement has a verge escapement, bell for the striking mechanism and a quarter hour repeater.
