A Swiss yellow gold, enamel and diamond set hunting-cased lever pendant watch made for the Spanish market, circa 1840, nickel lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, gold cuvette.
Silvered engine turned dial with applied gold filigree decoration to the border and centerfield, subsidiary seconds, circular case, front cover with painted enamel scene of a young shepherdess feeding her lamb, accented with rose cut diamonds, the back cover with translucent blue enamel within a geometric black enamel pattern, cuvette signed, case and cuvette numbered.
