A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold keyless wind pocket watch, circa 1850. This watch features a mechanical hand wound movement, signed Tiffany and Co., made in Switzerland, with lever escapement. It has a white enamel dial, signed Tiffany and Co, with stick indexes, railway and black Roman numerals, blued pear hands, and a sunk subsidiary dial for the constant seconds at six o’clock. The 18 carat yellow gold case bears the initials A.R. engraved on the back. The yellow gold double cuvette is numbered and engraved with: In memory of many happy hours H.S.

The watch is accompanied by an 18 carat yellow gold chain set with sapphires, an amethyst, and connected to a souvenir box. The latter is titled Precious Memories and decorated with floral motifs and portraits of a man and a woman.
