Gold and enamel American hunter pocket watch

An American lever in a gold and enamel full hunter cased, circa 1880. Nickelled three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, and blue steel hands. 18-carat full hunter case, both covers richly engraved and decorated with black champlevé enamel. Rectangular scenes in the center of the covers bordered by engraved frames. Engraved scalloped middle, gold cuvette with an engraved dedication ‘Mary and Salley – Nov 29 1882’. Maker’s mark ‘B.W.C.Co’ in a rectangle.
