An engine turned watch with champlevé dial

An early numbered anker chronometer, made by Victor Jeannot in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1860. The open faced numbered case was crafted from 18 Carat gold, is engine turned on the back and has a reeded band. The decorative champlevé dial has an outer ring with Roman numerals for the hours, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock and blued steel hands. The numbered (matching case numbers) movement has an anker chronometer escapement with an extra large balance wheel and Geneva striping.
Cuvette and movement are signed.
