A fine and elegant, square Swiss 18 carat gold and champlevé enamel open faced keyless lever dress watch, made in the 1920s. Rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with two adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Matte gilt dial with black champlevé Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, inner engraved laurel border, and original blued steel Breguet hands. Case with laurel leaf bezel and border, the back engine turned, the border and centre decorated with white and dark blue champlevé enamel. Dial signed Ebel, case and movement signed Ebel Watch.
