Gold, enamel and pearl set verge with matching chatelaine by Dellieret

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set quarter repeating verge pocket watch with matching gold, enamel and pearl set chatelaine made for the English market, circa 1790. Hinged, frosted gilt full plate movement with conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three armed brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock, silver regulation disc, repeating on bell activated by depressing the pendant. White enamel dial, convex, Arabic numerals, outer minute dot divisions and original gold arrowhead hands. Consular case, the back in translucent Imperial blue enamel over engine turning with applied pearl set rosette in the centre, pearl set bezels. The chatelaine consists of graduated oval, circular and oblong panels with Imperial blue and white enamel decoration matching the watch, three tassels, a key and a conical seal en suite, gilt metal spoon. Movement signed, the bell scratched signed Drury. Accompanied by a later fitted wooden box.
