A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced cylinder pendant watch with a gold and champlevé enamel three-bar fob, circa 1850. Matte gilt movement, bar calibre, 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and partially replaced blued steel hands. Bezel chased with shells and scrolls, coin-edge band, the case back decorated with painted on enamel campanula flowers on a white ground, engraved foliate scroll and blue enamel border. Cuvette signed.
