Gold decorated pendant watch by Lang & Padoux

A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, diamond and turquoise-set hunting cased cylinder pendant watch, circa 1860. Matte gilt movement, Ø 34 mm, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. The hinged and sprung front cover of the case is decorated with black champlevé enamel horizontal lines within a geometric border, set with four turquoises and rose-cut diamonds, an applied rose-cut diamond-set silver monogram beneath a rose-cut diamond-set coronet, the back is decorated to match and set with five turquoises and rose-cut diamonds, an engraved band, pendant and bow. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement numbered.
