A fine, elegant and thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1938. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved presentation inscription. Sand-coloured dial with black champlevé Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and original black spade hands. Polished case. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by a Ulysse Nardin box.
