A fine French 18 carat gold and champlevé enamel open faced cylinder pendant watch, circa 1835. Matte gilt movement, Lépine calibre, 4 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. Sunray engine-turned dial with champlevé Roman numerals and partially replaced gold Breguet hand. Bezel, pendant and bow decorated with black and blue champlevé enamel, the case back decorated with multicoloured champlevé enamel flowers on a black ground. Cuvette signed.
