A fine French 18 carat gold open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1810. Frosted gilt full plate movement, conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three armed brass balance, flat balance spring, pierced and engraved continental balance cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. White enamel dial with dauphine numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic fifteen minute numerals, winding aperture at 2 and original blued steel hands with skeletonized tips.  Consular case, polished, flat band. Movement signed.
