A very fine and very rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced Chronoscope Art Deco keyless lever jump hour dress watch, circa 1924. Rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blue Breguet balance spring. Silver dial with sunburst engine-turned motif, aperture for the jumping hour at 12, outer ring with black Arabic numerals for the minutes indicated by a wandering triangle. Polished case, the bezel in green and black enamel representing the various zodiac signs, the case back also with green enamel and gold initials. Case and movement signed by the watchmaker, movement and dial also signed by the retailer, movement and case numbered.
