Gold open faced chronograph with register

A very fine and thin Swiss 18 carat gold open faced split seconds chronograph keyless lever dress watch with register, circa 1915. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometre regulator. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved inscription. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second divisions, red five second numerals, subsidiary seconds and 60 minute register dials, original blued steel poire hands. Solid case, polished, semi concealed hinge, button at 11 for the split-seconds, button in the crown for the start/stop function of the chronograph. Case and movement numbered.
