A fine and unusual Swiss 18 carat gold keyless lever pocket watch with triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1905. Rhodium plated movement, 20 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Engraved cuvette. Later white enamel with Roman numerals, outer gold dot minute track with five minute Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds, apertures for the phases of the moon, the days of the week, the date and the months and gilt Louis XV hands. Plain case, hinged case back. Movement numbered.
