A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating lever pocket watch made for the English market, circa 1915. Frosted gilt movement, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. White enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and original blued steel pear hands. Polished case, hinged bezel and case back. Case and movement numbered.
