A fine and elegant, octagonal Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced Art Deco keyless lever dress watch, circa 1925. Made for W. Turler, Berne. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Frosted gilt dial with champlevé Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, and original black pierced hands. Polished case, the bezels and bow decorated with geometric dark blue enamel decoration, chased band. Dial, case, and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
