A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1934. Specially made for the Fribourg Tir Federal crossbow archery contest in 1934. Frosted gilt movement, bar caliber, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator. Gold hinged cuvette engraved Nikl. Schreiber. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blue painted Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and original black Breguet hands. Polished and frosted case, the back cast with the design by W. Jordan Del Hugenin SC. of a stylized figure of a kneeling archer surrounded by the inscription Tir Federal Fribourg 1934.  Dial, case and movement signed, case numbered.
