Rose gold full hunter chronograph

A very fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1895. Rhodium-plated movement, 35 jewels, a counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. The hinged gold cuvette engraved Souvenir 1er Janvier 1896, a glazed gold-rimmed cover over the movement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost fifths of a second chronograph divisions calibrated to 300 units, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel poire hands. The solid, polished case with an applied foliate monogram on the front, an olive-shaped button at 12 o’clock for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Dial signed, case numbered.
