A French 18 carat gold, enamel and stone set open faced key wind pocket watch made by Jean-Antoine Lépine in Paris, circa 1790. The gilt full plate movement with a verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, and silver regulation. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, a winding aperture at 2 o’clock and blued hands. The foliate engraved case features a painted enamel miniature portrait on the reverse with a stone set border and a stone set bezel. Movement signed.
