Gold quarter repeating French verge pocket watch

A quarter repeating French verge in a gold open face case circa 1820. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely engraved bridge cock and beautiful engraved foot and plate with polished steel diamond endstone, plain three-arm copper balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue indicator. Push pendant for first hour repeating and then quarter repeating on two steel gongs, there is a slider on the side to block the pendant so you can’t push it. Winding through the enamel dial with unusual subsidiary seconds at three o’clock, black Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18-carat open face case with ribbed middle, gold push pendant and bow. Signed and numbered sprung gilt cuvette.
