A fine Swiss gilt, enamel and pearl watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1870, gilt lever Chinese duplex movement, steel balance with halberd style weights, finely chased and engraved.
White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, gilt metal case, pearl set bezels, case back with painted portrait of a lady atop translucent red enamel over sunburst guilloché, glazed cuvette, case and movement signed.
