Gold keyless lever dress watch

A Swiss 18 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless dress watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1925. The nickel finished lever movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal, fitted with 18 jewels, a bimetallic compensation balance and wolf’s tooth winding. Silvered matte dial with applied gold stylized cubic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade hands. The bezel, rim and bow with engraved Art Deco style foliate decoration and blue champlevé enamel inserts, the snap-on back centred by the applied white gold initials W.E.S. Case, dial and movement signed.
