Gold open faced chronograph

A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1915. Retailed by Samuel Kirk & Son in Baltimore, Maryland. Nickel finished lever movement, 40 jewels, repeating on two hammers. Gold cuvette engraved Samuel Kirk & Son, Co and C. Wilbur Miller Baltimore MD. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic five-minute divisions, two subsidiary dials for 30 minutes register and constant seconds. Plain case, hidden hinges, inlaid black enamel initials CMW to the back, repeating slide in the band, split-seconds chronograph mechanism operated through a button in the band and through the crown, crown locking lever in the band. Case, dial and movement signed by the watchmaker, cuvette signed by the watchmaker and retailer.
