A fine English 18 carat gold pair cased repoussé verge watch, circa 1760. Gilt finished mechanical verge movement, chain fusée, finely pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, blued regulation disc. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, gold serpentine hands and outer Arabic five minute divisions. Plain inner case, hinged, chased and engraved repoussé outer case with mythological scene in high relief. Movement signed and numbered.
