Gold and enamel half hunting cased pocket watch by Leroy

A  French gold and enamel half hunting cased keywound cylinder watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1815. Gilded brass ruby cylinder movement, plain three armed brass balance. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Turkish numerals and blued steel hands. Polychrome champlevé enamel foliage decorated case, pink enamel floral decorated bezel, reverse centered by a painted polychrome enamel river scene, the pastel coloured sky with translucent enamel sunray effect over engine turned background. Case and cuvette numbered, cuvette signed Leroy Élève de Breguet, dial signed with Leroy’s Turkish signature.
