A fine, rare English 18 carat gold half hunting cased key wound striking clock watch, circa 1900.
Full plate gilt finished jewelled English lever movement, three armed balance, striking on two hammers on to two gongs. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer calibrated minute track. Large engraved case with floral and leaf motif to the front and back covers, blank cartouche to the back, front cover with polished chapter ring with blue enamel Roman numerals, aperture to see the dial, strike/silence lever at the 4 position, engraved geometric design in the band. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered, case numbered, stamped J.A. and with London date letter for 1900.
