A fine, early Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set hunting cased key wound cylinder watch, circa 1850. Gilt finished cylinder movement, three armed balance. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. Case with translucent blue guilloché enamel background and gilt leaf motif set with pearls to the front, back cover translucent blue guilloché enamel background with polychrome enamel portrait of two children set in an interior, all within a pearl inlaid rosette, both rims with engraved scroll design, coin edge band. Cuvette signed and numbered, case numbered.
