A fine Swiss gold, enamel and diamond set oval hunting cased keywound cylinder watch, circa 1860. Gilt finished cylinder movement. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Oval case, the front with a finely painted polychrome enamel portrait of a young lady with a diamond set tiara and necklace, with a blue and black champlevé enamel border, the back similarly decorated and with a diamond set rosette to the black enamel centre, bezels finely engraved with diamond shaped motifs, with scrolled surmount and matched gilt chain. Case numbered, cuvette signed and numbered.
