A Swiss gold and enamel hunting cased keywound lever pocket watch, circa 1850. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance. Gilt cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunken subsidiary dial and blued steel spades hands. Engraved case, front cover with polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, surrounded by a black enamel border with engraved garland, the back cover dark blue guilloché background with sunburst design, gilt ribbon and floral motif to the center, matching black enamel border with engraved garland, coin edge band, hinged back. Cuvette and movement signed, cuvette and case numbered.
