A fine French 18 carat gold and enamel hunter cased jump hour cylinder watch, circa 1840. Gilt finished cylinder movement, female keywinding, ruby endstone, plain three armed balance. Finely foliage and floral black champlevé enamel decorated dial, two apertures for the wandering minutes and Arabic jumping hours. Ultra slim case, finely foliage and floral black champlevé decorated sides, pendant and bow, back with bayonet fixing. Comes with matching gold and enamel chain and key. Case numbered.
