A fine Swiss 18 Carat rose gold hunter cased minute repeating keyless lever watch, circa 1891. Retailed by Galt & Brother, Washington D.C. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bi metallic compensation balance, wolf’s tooth winding. Gold cuvette engraved: By Patek Philippe & Co. Geneva Made for Galt & Brother, Washington D.C. and centred by the inscription: P.J.P. from G.H.G. May 6 1903. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, blued steel moon style hands, outer red five-minute divisions and subsidiary seconds. Plain case, engraved initials P.J.P. to the front, repeating slide in the band. Case and movement signed by the maker, dial signed by the retailer, cuvette signed by maker and retailer.
