A French quarter repeating verge watch in 18 Carat gold case, circa 1820. The pocket watch has a slider in order to block the repeater. Full plate gilt movement. Ribbed middle and engine turned back. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and gold Breguet hands. Pierced and engraved cock with polished steel coqueret, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Push pendant for quarter repeating, repeating on two steel gongs.
