A German 18 carat gold open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1884. Sold 30.11.1884 to Fa. Dürrstein & Co. Dresden. Gilt, grained 3/4 plate movement, quality 1A, screwed gold chatons, gold screwed compensation balance, hand engraved balance cock, adjustment without return spring, gold anchor and anchor wheel, chatonized diamond endstone on the balance, blued screws, ratchet wheels with sunburst. Comes with a certificate of the German Watch Museum Glashütte, the warranty card and the original box. White enamel dial, black Arbic numerals, red minute ring, gold Louis XV hands and sunken small seconds. Plain ‘Bassine’ case. Dial and movement signed.
