A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless chronograph pocket watch, made by Vacheron & Constantin in Geneva, circa 1915. A solid, polished case with an engraved monogram on the back. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, gold hands and subsidiary seconds at 6, 1/5 second chronograph, activated by the single round push piece located on the winding crown. A frosted gilt movement, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work. The dial, case and movement are signed.
