A very fine Swiss, rare and elegant, thin and flat, keyless, 18K yellow gold watch with chronograph, circa 1905. Accompanied by the Extract from Archives. Yellow gold Chronograph with a two-tone dial. Made in 1905 by Patek Philippe & Co and sold on August 2, 1907.

Two-tone matte silver and champagne white dial with painted and applied gold baton indexes, outer Arabic 5-minute/seconds markers, 1/5th seconds chronograph divisions, subsidiary seconds dial and 30-minute register. Yellow gold feuille hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 24 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, button on the winding crown, chronograph with visible work, locking slide-in the band. Dial, case and movement signed.

Over the years, this watch was very well maintained and was sent more than once for general maintenance to Patek Philippe. It was no doubt on one of these occasions that, the company replaced the dial, circa 1930-1935.
