An unusual Swiss 18 carat yellow gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1950. Accompanied by an extract from the Archives.
A polished case with hinged gold cuvette. Silvered dial with applied gold Breguet hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions and gold Breguet hands. The rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjustments, self compensating hairspring and an index regulator. Case, dial and movement signed.
