A very fine Swiss, 18k gold, blue enamel and diamond-set keyless fob watch, circa 1860. With matching, detachable, gold, enamel and diamond chatelaine with attached winding key and stone-set blank seal, movable fastener and gilt metal clip. Finely engraved band to scalloped edges, blue enamel to front and reverse, cover with white Roman numerals bordered by diamonds, reverse with central diamond-set flower pattern, hinged gold cuvette with apertures for winding and setting. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals with an outer minute track and 5-minute Arabic numbers. Gold moon hands. Gilt bar movement, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, gilt three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Total length including chatelaine 15.5 cm.
