A fine English 22K gold pair-cased pocket watch, circa 1730. Both cases are polished by Henry Rawlins. Gold dial, matted and polished with champlevé radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals, centre with signature cartouches. Gold Spade hands.
A gilt, full plate movement, square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, three-arm flat-rim steel balance, short steel balance spring, pierced and engraved foliate winged balance cock, silver regulation disc. Dial and movement signed, inner case numbered.
